The probabilities of being hit by a meteorite are astronomically slim, however attempt telling that to a California man who claims a hurtling ball of fireplace destroyed his home.
“I heard a giant bang. I began to odor smoke. I went onto my porch, and it was fully engulfed in flames,” Dustin Procita of Nevada County in rural Northern California instructed KCRA information.
