“The Good Home” has secured North American distribution forward of its world premiere at Tribeca Movie Pageant. Deadline stories that Lionsgate and Roadside Sights snagged rights to Maya Forbes and Wally Wolodarsky’s newest, an adaptation of Ann Leary’s New York Occasions best-selling novel.
Led by three-time Oscar nominee Sigourney Weaver, “The Good Home” tells the story of Hildy Good, “a wry New England realtor and descendant of the Salem witches, who loves her wine and her secrets and techniques. Her compartmentalized life begins to unravel as she rekindles a romance along with her previous high-school flame, Frank Getchell (Oscar winner Kevin Kline), and turns into dangerously entwined in a single individual’s reckless habits.
