How’s this for a handbag improve for golf’s nationwide championship: a whopping $5 million.

The USGA on Saturday introduced its complete purse and payout breakdown for the 2022 U.S. Open at The Nation Membership in Brookline, Mass., and the winner will convey house a record-breaking payday from a record-breaking purse.

This 12 months’s purse is $17.5 million, up from final 12 months’s $12.5 million pool. The winner can even see a giant improve.
