The story follows the lives of three generations of girls in a single household. They’re Kat Landry (Leigh), her 15-year-old daughter Alice (Laflamme-Snow), and Kat’s mom, Del (MacDowell). They’re all sturdy, willful, and impartial.

Greater than 20 years in the past, life-changing occasions prompted Kat to maneuver away from Port Haven, the household’s small Canadian farm city, and he or she stays estranged from Del to at the present time. Alice has by no means met her grandmother and is unaware of the explanations for his or her fractured household.
